Boys Spring Session

Workouts and practices will start April 15 at Fenwick High School and Ridgeland Commons Ice Rink, respectively. A team schedule will be posted on the Fenwick Hockey website calendar as rinks may change from week to week. Spring session will end on May 29. JV will play in the Brother Rice Spring Showcase - 5 games weekly at Oak Lawn.

Eligibility

Fenwick Spring Sessions are open to current Fenwick students in their Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior years, along with incoming students for the Fall of 2026.

When

We will have an informational meeting at Fenwick on Tuesday, March 31.

Spring session will begin April 15. JV will play in the Brother Rice Spring Showcase - 5 games total.

Wednesdays (April 15 - May 27)

Workouts - Fenwick High School - 6:30-7:30pm
Ice Time - Ridgeland Commons - 8:15-9:45pm

Fridays (April 17 - May 29, off May 22)

Workouts - Fenwick High School - 6:45-7:45pm
Ice Time - Ridgeland Commons - 8:30-10pm

Where

Workouts will be held at Fenwick High School. Practices will be held at Ridgeland Commons.

JV Showcase games are held at Oak Lawn Ice Arena, Willowbrook, or potentially Southwest Ice Arena.

Practices

Teams will practice 2 times per week. Please see calendar for specific times.

Players from both teams will receive almost 20 hours of practice ice time this Spring!

Frequently Asked Questions

Are we required to attend all practices?

Attendance is highly encouraged to everything as skills are normally a progression of work put in through the session. However we also encourage our players in spring to participate in other sports. We would ask that you make every attempt to attend knowing that there will be conflicts and we will work around them.

How many players can dress for games in spring?

For any USA Hockey/AHAI sanctioned game, 18 skaters and 2 goalies can dress. If there are non-sanctioned games, that is up to the coaches and teams as to how many they want to dress and play.

Boys Spring 2026

There will be a Spring informational meeting on Tuesday, March 31 at Fenwick High School at 6:30pm.

Practices will start the week of April 15 at Paul Hruby Ice Arena at Ridgeland Common in Oak Park. Workouts will be scheduled around our ice slots. Spring session will end on May 31.

Spring JV will participate in the Brother Rice showcase. That consists of 5 games at Oak Lawn Ice Arena.
