Boys Varsity Highlights (12/15/2025)

Boys' Varsity Hockey captured a key CCHL victory Saturday evening against Mt. Carmel 4-2. Friar goals came from Braden Machon (1G, 1A), Arden Tantaro (1G, 1A), Matthew Draz (1G, 1A), and Peter Hayes, with additional assists from Henry Schmidt, Jack Lotito, and James Papp. Sean Imburgia had 20 saves on 22 shots. The Friars then took on rival St. Ignatius on Sunday. Despite a strong late-game showing, the Friars couldn’t capture consistent momentum and lost the game 4-2. Peter Hayes and Jack Lotito scored the Friar goals, with assists from Arden Tantaro, Lucas White, and Auggie Leavy (who also had 18 saves). The Friars will travel to Cleveland at the end of this week for a holiday tournament, and don’t return to action until Thursday January 8th when they face Stephenson at 5:45pm, Twin Rinks.
